where to get the available history variable for certain compset

hello! i was testing a dry dynamical core run and add some output variables in user_nl_cam files. however, it turned out that some variables are not available in this idealized run. i just wonder generally where can we get a list of available variables for certain compset? i found a master field list within the log file which however contains all default history fields including those that are not available for my compset.

@nusbaume could you answer this question? Does CAM have a list of history variables available?
