Remove the radiation effect of a certain aerosol

Hello everyone

I added a new aerosol with dust components in CESM, but I don’t want this new aerosol to have radiation effects. I just want it to be transported and settled along with the dust aerosol.

I tried setting the parameters in the '&rad_cnst_nl' corresponding radiation file to 0 or a minimum value (/atm/cam/physprops/dust_aeronet_rrtmg_c141106.nc). These parameters include longwave/shortwave/near-infrared absorption, scattering, extinction coefficients and asymmetry parameters. But this method doesn't seem to work. The cesm.log file reminds me that the height of the bottom layer of the pattern is nan.

I would be grateful if anyone could give me some advice

Hi, I also got the same error when trying to remove the effects of dust. Have you got some updates to handle this problem?
